Dr. Jennie Weiss Block served as chief advisor to Dr. Paul Farmer, United Nations Deputy Special Envoy to Haiti, helped found ZanmiBeni, a center for abandoned children in Port-au-Prince. She assisted in the relief and recovery efforts in Haiti following the 2010 Earthquake.

She will be providing a theological perspective on hospitality and caring for the stranger. Thursday, October 24th- McGann Conference Room- 6:30 Haitian Food and Live Music- 7:30 Lecture begins.
