I thought many of your students may be interested in the following article about Long Island specifically Brentwood and surrounding communities where issues of immigration are being played out.  The article depicts life in these communities and  how adolescents are caught between the violence of MS-13 and the fear of deportation.  The article would be of interest to faculty teaching about social issues, crime, adolescent development and the effects on policy on the lives of individuals.
