KiDS NEED MoRE, is looking for camp & year-round volunteers.

CAMP ADVENTURE: Camp Adventure will take place from August 11 – 17, 2018. This camp is a one-week sleep away camp that takes place on Shelter Island for children with cancer and their siblings. All volunteers should be at least 19 years of age by the end of the calendar year (on or before December 31st) to attend.  Apply for Camp Adventure Here!

SADDLE R♥CK DAY CAMP: This camp will take place on weekdays from July 9 – 27, 2018, 9am-4pm. Saddle Rock Day Camp will be a 3-week day camp that takes place in Middle Island, NY. There will be busing for volunteers in Amityville, each day, if the camp location is far from them. We ask that our volunteers are at least 16 years of age by the end of the calendar year ( December 31st) if you are not eligible to receive our services (children, families, & young adults coping with cancer and life-threatening illnesses). Here’s the link to apply. Apply for Saddle Rock Here!

M♥RE HOPE F♥R JOHNATHON (MHFJ): MHFJ is our year-round program. We support patients, siblings and parents at all stages of the journey. We provide Warm Fuzzy Baskets for the kids; send out birthday cards; go out on hospital and home visits; and participate in community events. If you are interested in attending our meetings, e-mail me for further details (P.S. Food will be served). We allow volunteers of all ages to attend our meetings and assist at certain community events, but we ask that our volunteers are at least 17 years of age to attend our home and hospital visits! Apply for MHFJ Here!
